Okay..story time. The only relatively enjoyable thing about working in fast food is weird/crazy/funny things happen to you. If any of you have ever worked with fast food, I'm sure you understand completely. So this past weekend I had a customer hand me money through the drive thru, and he dropped a dollar bill on the ground between his car and the drive thru window. I told him not to worry about it, so he listened and drove away. About twenty minutes later a woman came through the drive thru with a passenger who I'm assuming was her son. (At this time the dollar was still on the ground because I had no time to get it). She pulls up to the window, tells me to change something on her order and tries to convince me that when she reached her hand out to give me the money, I wasn't paying attention so she dropped the dollar (which by the way hadn't even happened yet because I was fixing her order, so I had not asked for any money). She had her son get out of the car in the drive thru, walk around the car, and pick up money which didn't belong to him. I just thought it was hilarious because I knew exactly where that money had come from, but this lady frantically tried to convince me that I made her drop the dollar....I swear the things people do for money is ridiculous.

That is funny. I have seen many people at drive thru, get out of their car to pick up even the change that someone dropped.(It might have even been just a penny or two)
ReplyDeleteI think this is very funny, I remember when worked at dunkin donuts drive through, a kid ran out his car for 50 cents by the window.
